Google has released a new update to their Play Store, version 5.4 which brings a lot of interesting changes to Android devices.
Once you download the APK file and install it, you will find some noticeable changes in the way the Play store looks like. The biggest of them all is the notification bar. Instead of being a hindrance, it has now been made fully transparent. It is nearly invisible which makes it easier to read the content below.
Besides, the change also allows the app content to look prominent and videos to play easier, when you are browsing to buy or rent movies. The size of the logo used for apps, games, movies and books has also been increased to make it easily visible once you enter the page.
While all these changes are fully materialistic and doesn’t have many background add-ons, it definitely improves stability and performance of the play store. Google is yet to officially roll out the update to every device but you can always download the latest version from third party APK sources.
