Microsoft is a great company but their Internet Explorer brand became more of a joke in recent times because it was really slow, lacked modern day features and lost users’ trust.
The new Spartan browser which is still in its alpha stages has already proved everyone wrong. After all, if Microsoft could create an amazing operating system like the Windows 10, they possess the capability to create a browser that could make Firefox and Chrome run for their money.
Pioneering the Idea
There was a time when Mozilla Firefox was the browser of choice for millions of users. The software was amazing but soon it lacked innovation and continued to be the same flat, boring browser.
Then came Google Chrome which was blazingly fast, lightweight and brought a lot of nice features. Things aren’t the same now because both these browsers now look really old and the developers have stopped thinking new stuff to add to it. Besides, they are also scared of experimenting with ideas.
With nothing to lose, Spartan browser reinvents everything and when it officially launches this summer, it is set to change the way internet browsing is.
Clean and Flat
Chrome and Firefox is flat but they look too similar to be distinguished from one another. However, Spartan browser uses sharp edges which is a welcome change and has a clean, flat look that most users crave for.
It was Microsoft that made things flat which was followed by Apple and Google in their respective mobile operating systems. Similarly, the web browsing experience was really fast on Spartan and more stable than ever.
Instead of launching a browser that receives multiple updates and bug fixes in the future, Spartan works great even in Alpha and is sure to be awesome with the final edition.
Reading view, ability to make marks on a web page and Cortana are exclusive features to Microsoft’s Spartan. It’s time Chrome and Firefox think of their own innovative ideas so that they don’t become the next Internet Explorer or Netscape Navigator.
