Mortal Kombat X is set to launch on April 14 before which the developers NetherRealm has launched an amazingly cinematic launch trailer which is equally brutal.
If you have watched game trailers, especially the fighting ones, they hardly have any soul in them! It’s always about crashing and thrashing your opponents but after a long time they have gone back to the roots by providing a fitting trailer for the game.
In Mortal Kombat X, players will have the opportunity to play as some of their favorite iconic characters as well as a lot of new ones. The sad news is that those whom you loved including Liu Kang and Kung Lao are now dead but they are playable as the bad guys. They have a whole new set of power and will fight against the tournament players on the good side.
The trailer showcases the single player campaign found in the game as well as gameplay videos including the iconic Goro thrashing enemies to pulp. All the brutal fatalities are there and combined with an impressive soundtrack, it’s easily the best video in recent times.
Most fans are happy with what they have got with the title.
1.8GB Day One Patch
NetherRealm also confirmed that players should download the 1.8 GB patch which will be rolled out as soon as the game launches. A Reddit user who managed to play the game as well as download the patch confirms that it adds more difficulty to the levels as well as increase stability in multiplayer modes.
Players who were earning more than 2500 coins earlier in lower difficulty couldn’t manage to touch even 300 once the new update is downloaded. You can’t skip it because it is mandatory to enter all multiplayer matches.
Mortal Kombat X launches on PS4, Xbox One and PC next week while the PS3 and Xbox 360 version has been postponed to a later date according to a Gamespot report.
