Activision has officially announced Guitar Hero Live, an exciting new title in the music series which allows players to experience being the best band by performing in front of an audience.
Virtual reality is so close with Oculus Rift, Steam’s own VR and Project Morpheus around. The music game is not going to simply ask players to use real guitars to play the game but also introduced an exciting new first person mode.
As a player, you will be directly facing the crowd and performing live. While on television it might look like a 3D version of the world, in virtual reality the experience is highly engaging that you would be asking for more.
The graphical quality of the game has been completely revamped and it now uses images from a real crowd. They are real people who earlier cheered and shouted before a live band. The content has been tuned in a way that they will react promptly to all your composition and it is up to you to impress them with your guitar skills.
Guitar Hero Live has a GHTV mode in which players can choose a favorite music video from a list of titles available and play along with it. The list is updated based on new launches which will keep the game alive for a long time to come. There are no charges for updating your music video collection.
Activision also confirmed that Guitar Hero Live is a game designed for smartphones, tablets and consoles. Players can enjoy showing off their skills to their friends on other platforms and there is also cross platform play to make them join your band performance.
The game launches this autumn on all major consoles including PS3, PS3, Xbox 360 and Xbox One besides other portable devices. Get ready to rock the world!
