Titanfall was the first game to bring this out! Respawn made a game without a single player campaign and after making mediocre single player missions, DICE has decided to skip it with Star Wars Battlefront.
The game’s grand reveal has took place and everyone is really excited about it. After all, an actual Star Wars game from a huge company is coming and it is multiplayer only, made by DICE, a developer best known for their amazing Battlefield 3 and Battlefield 4 games.
Multiplayer elements is the chief concern of the developers and they confirmed that players will have the chance to play small missions, either solo or with a friend in co-op. But, they will not feature a full single player campaign which DICE is not so strong at!
Get ready to play as Darth Vader, Boba Fett and many others. The developers in their launch trailer and interview confirmed that Star Wars Battlefront will feature 40 player online battles, where 20 versus 20 matches is going to be a common affair once it launches by the end of 2015.
Maps and Vehicles
Maps include Hoth, Tatooine, Endor and Sullust. Players can drive a lot of different vehicles including TIE fighters, millennium falcon, speeders and even on AT & Ts.
Players who pre-order the game will be eligible to receive a special Jakku mission about a week earlier before everyone else gets it. It is a free DLC that DICE has planned but they haven’t spoken in depth about the upcoming DLCs for Battlefront.
More details about the upcoming game is expected to be unveiled during the upcoming E3 2015 event, confirmed EA and DICE.
Star Wars Battlefront is coming to PS4, Xbox One and PC on November 17. You can also checkout the brief gameplay and launch trailer revealed by the developers in this page. Make sure to check out some of the amazing screenshots as well.
