The last iteration in the series was a mediocre hit but that is not going to stop the next anytime soon. Take Two confirmed that WWE2K16 is coming to Xbox One and PS4 this October.
The surprising news is that the game is not going to be limited within next gen consoles but will also land on Xbox 360 and PS3 consoles. Players who are still on last gen and prefer to enjoy some of the latest games should be happy with this announcement.
Old Gen Graphics!!!
The problem with releasing a game on older generation consoles which are almost 9 years old by now is that they will have a negative impact on graphics and gameplay. Even if the developers try to do their best, there is only so much they could on a platform that runs on outdated hardware which are not meant to handle modern day games.
It is to be seen how WWE2K16 fares when it gets launched on all four platforms. While Take Two and 2K Sports didn’t confirm if it is coming to PCs again, the probability is high as the lastly launched WWE2K15 arrived on Windows platforms with all the DLCs bundled within.
NBA 2K16 is also coming around the same time. Both games will have a career mode written by Spike Lee, who is known for his scripts in the Hollywood. Apart from these sports games, there will be an expansion pack for Civilization: Beyond Earth and a game titled Battleborn, scheduled for 2016 release.
