Electronic Arts have announced a new Need for Speed game and it looks a lot like Underground series.
The developer confirmed that it is going to be a full reboot of the franchise and doesn’t have any tie-up with the previously released games. It has great graphics and definitely looks next gen. The game is going to get launched on PS4, Xbox One and PC platforms.
As with every other game, this is going to bid goodbye to PS3 and Xbox 360 consoles. The last gen is officially over except for a few sports titles and some indie games that could still run on the outdated hardware.
EA says that the Need for Speed title, developed by Ghost Games is going to feature a lot of customization options which was prevalent in the Underground series and also focuses on the urban car culture. It features an open world that will have an eternal night that never ends and plenty of narrative elements to keep players glued to the scene.
Could it be the Fast and Furious videogame that everyone looks forward to?
It could even be the reboot that people want because Most Wanted series has been generously exploited in multiple titles and going back to the nights from the times of Underground and Carbon looks like a viable option.
Electronic Arts is also going to launch Star Wars Battlefront which is going to be the alternative for Battlefield 5 this year. They will probably launch it in 2016. At E3 2015, the company will be showing Need for Speed among other game titles.
