Google has to make a tough decision before the upcoming I/O 2015 conference because their Android silver program didn’t get as popular as the Nexus series.
Besides, the Nexus tablets have already reached their saturation level and is available in multiple size ranges. So, instead of focusing on a tab, the company will be having a strong focus on the smartphones. Companies like Motorola, LG, Samsung have been doing great with their own models and now it is time for Google to show that their Nexus phones are still the best.
The LG Angler could be one of the Nexus phone with a 5.2 inch display and is aiming at a more comfortable size that users could actually hold. It might feature a 2700 mAh battery and has a Snapdragon 808 chipset. You could easily say that this is the Nexus 5 with a significant upgrade.
This is another phone which is bigger with a 5.7 inch display and Snapdragon 810 processor. It features a more powerful 3500 mAh battery. It is purely a rumor at the moment because announcing two different Nexus phones at the same time is a huge deal for Google. They might do it or may not!
No new Nexus tablet is coming during this conference and the previously released 9-inch device will be good for at least another year after which the developers will start discussing potential ways to make their tabs better than the ones that have been launched so far.
