While Electronic Arts and Visceral admitted that Battlefield Hardline never touched the level that BF4 or BF3 achieved, it didn’t stop them from releasing paid DLCs as well.
After all, it is EA right? The developers have now revealed an official teaser for the Criminal Activity DLC for Hardline which will give players a brief glimpse of what this new content is all about.
The official word is that this is going to be a bunch of four different maps, set in different locales where players will be able to indulge in small time criminal activities while the cops will try to nab them. The good thing is that it is not going to take place in the streets where civilians live but rather takes the fight to abandoned shopping malls, the forest and office interiors which is completely empty.
• Criminal Activity DLC for Battlefield Hardline brings six new masks for you to wear. If you love masks after playing GTA V for hours, this is going to be fun. Two of them will be wacky animal masks while four feature headgear of the cops.
• Three different weapons as well as a nailgun. Two different ammunitions to make the weapons more powerful.
• Two different vehicles and a gadget apart from the Bounty Hunter game mode.
• Four maps – the Beat, Code Blue, Backwoods & the Black Friday.
The number of players on Hardline has considerably reduced in the past few months because it didn’t grab their attention. Maybe, if EA had released it without the Battlefield series stamp on it, it might have fared well.
