The Google owned company Youtube is the undisputed king of streaming videos and they changed the way people consume content online.
They even launched 4K videos and now there is even an 8K video that no one could watch right now on Youtube but the company failed in one thing miserably. Their repeated attempts to buy Twitch once for all never passed through. Game streaming has been a huge market as millions around the globe watch people playing be it casual or professional, it is fun, addictive and has a strong fan following.
Youtube Gaming is now official which is going to compete directly with Twitch and given their ability to streaming videos seamlessly than their competitor does, this might actually change the scenario. It is to be seen if this could beat the other one, only time will tell!
In the official blog, product manager of Youtube Gaming Alan Joyce said, “With 60 FPS streaming, ability to view them offline, convert videos to Youtube format and DVR, our system is ready for the world of gaming. Besides, the search function have also been tweaked to match gaming so that if you search call, it automatically leads to call of duty and not call of wild or something else.”
