As long as you can enjoy stream of amazing, user curated play lists and amazing collection of songs, it doesn’t matter if there are some advertisements in between right?
With a view to boost their services and to make Google Play Music popular among Android users, the company has now launched a new ad-supported Radio. It is amazing with some great collection of songs, powered by Songza that Google purchased earlier.
Artists who own songs will be paid for their songs even though customers are not charged. Revenue is purely based on ads and the blog has confirmed that it will be free always, while a premium subscription is there for those who don’t like ads.
Apple Music was recently launched and Google Radio seems like a competitor. It is quite limited because it allows you to skip only six times in an hour and a full subscription will cost $9.99 per month.
The Play Music supports over 50,000 songs uploaded from your PC as well as a great collection of albums online, from the cloud. Paid subscription supports offline play as well while the free version doesn’t.
