Apple is working hard on the iOS 9 which has received its beta 3 edition now. With this launch, the company has confirmed that their main objective is to make the operating system smooth and highly responsive at launch.

Before you try to upgrade it on your phone, make sure to backup data or consider installing it on a different device. The iOS 9 displays some significant improvement from the previous version and is exceptionally smooth on both iPad and the iPhone.

Many apps that crashed in the previous beta edition has now been fixed. Apple has also revamped the icons and fonts in the operating system. Following the design pattern adopted by Google’s Android Lollipop, the new OS in beta adopts bigger fonts, stronger outline and icons that are readily accessible.

The collection of wallpapers found in iOS 9 is brilliant and beautiful. Space lovers would gobble the planet wallpapers available in this third beta edition. Siri has improved a lot and is capable of doing actions based on the context. This is the third public beta while developers have received the fifth beta of the same operating system with additional features and tweaks.

Apple has promised better battery life with the operating system which launches in fall 2015, according to Mac Rumors. It will be compatible with iPhone 4S, iPad 2 besides all newer devices released after them.

Sigh, *PUBLIC* Beta 3 NOT Beta 3 – please, can we have some accuracy?

We did clarify it within the article but thanks for pointing out! You know, Google doesn’t love lengthy titles. So, we just had to cut it somewhere.

  • I haven’t checked in here for some time since I thought it was getting boring, but the last few posts are good quality so I guess I’ll add you back to my daily bloglist. You deserve it my friend 🙂
