Ubisoft Montreal is working on For Honor, a hack and slash game that looks extremely promising in this behind-the-scenes video where developers and directors speak more about this upcoming title.

For Honor puts players in the shoes of a Viking, or Knight among other fierce warriors. Creative director Jason VandenBerghe is the heart and soul of the game. He’s extremely excited about this title and from the way they are building it up, any gamer would hardly say no to it.

After annoying the lot with a diluted Watch Dogs experience and an overwhelming Assassin’s Creed franchise, Ubisoft seems to be working on something worth looking forward to at last. There are two different behind the scenes videos released by the company, one that showcases the team speak about the title and another includes motion capture besides other activities that went into creating the title.

Game development is a long and tiring process which took a twelve man team to impress Ubisoft Montreal before they gave them a team of 150 people. ‘For Honor’ is under development for three years now and it’s exciting to see an AAA title that is not about world war, military or sci-fi shooting. Good news is the game is coming to Playstation 4, Xbox One and PC at once, sometime in 2016.

Are you convinced that Ubisoft is creating a brand new IP that matters? Check out the videos and let us know if you could forgive the people who gave us ‘Assassin’s Creed Unity’ nightmare!
