Xiaomi Redmi Note 2 is a direct competitor to Samsung’s Galaxy Note devices and the competition is seriously heating up this time.
In a press event held in China, Xiaomi announced the Note 2 and the Note 2 Prime. The first phone is powered by a MediaTek Helio X10 processor combined with 2 GB RAM and 16 GB of storage space. The Prime is the same but it has a bigger 32 GB of storage space.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 2 has a 5.5 inch display with a 1080p resolution and has a powerful 13 megapixel rear camera. The front is dominated by a 5 megapixel camera while the device also supports dual SIM cards and 802.11 ac Wifi connectivity. The 3,020 mAh battery should be more than enough to get it through a day. The first model costs approximately at $125 while it goes up to $155 for the Redmi Note 2 Prime with 32 GB storage.
