We all know that Asus Zenfone 2 is an amazing smartphone that created a new benchmark for budget devices.
It sports a large screen with full 1080p HD display, powerful Intel processor and great camera. But, in a recent press conference held in Brazil, the company has announced the new Asus Zenfone 2 Deluxe Special Edition which is going to come with a whopping 256GB internal storage space. Seriously, do you think you could use all that space on a smartphone’s tiny screen? We don’t think so!
The company has already launched the Laser and another Deluxe edition in the past. The newly launched Deluxe Edition features an all-new polygonal design which has been exquisitely crafted to offer a premium feel to the buyer despite its low price tag.
The newly launched phone isn’t much different in terms of specs. It sports a 5.5-inch display with a 1920 x 1080 resolution and is powered by an Intel Atom 2.5 GHz processor. There’s 4 GB of RAM and a Power VR G6430 GPU for graphically intensive gaming. A Gorilla Glass 3 protects the front panel.
Asus Zenfone 2 Deluxe Special Edition has a 13 megapixel rear and a 5 megapixel front shooter coupled with a 3000 mAh battery. It supports Dual SIM, LTE and runs Zen UI on top of the Android Lollipop operating system. The biggest change is of course the 256 GB storage space. Maybe, you could store full seasons of television series, a couple of HD movies and some huge games like FIFA 15, Asphalt 8 among others.
If you still have space left, consider using it as a portable USB to carry data to office or any other location. The phone’s official pricing is yet to be revealed but it should be somewhere around $300 which is not too much considering the performance and value it offers.
