It has been almost 17 years and it’s hard to believe that Google was once a simple technology company that wanted to help people search the web.
With the recent updates, it is evident that the company is going to be segregated from its parent tie-ups and operate as an individual search engine. Meanwhile, Alphabets will be taking over Google as the new master which will focus on a lot of other things named technology, including autonomous cars, Google Glass, smart watches, televisions and much more.
In the new logo, the traditional blue color used in the G will be more colorful and will adopt multiple colors in the same alphabet. Similarly, it looks flatter and thin inspired by the design that Microsoft ushered in.
There to be a time when gradients and thick fonts were considered fashionable. Times have changed and so should the logos. In their official blog, the company confirmed that the changes will reflect on all their platforms and new icons will emerge as days progress.
They confirmed that this change is just the beginning because the team is planning surprising announcements in the near future. It’s not just the logo but Google is changing as a whole and people may have to start adopting to it soon. We should soon be able to see new products, interact with content like never before and see the company revolutionize the world of technology.
However, there have been complaints regarding the organization not focusing on things like Adsense and Adwords that made it huge in the first place. Content developers complain that Youtube and website earnings are no longer sufficient as Google takes most of their profits. With this complete moderation, we expect them to look more into the operational scheme and set things so that they have a firm foot on their first ever platform.
