Steam sale was the only one that rocked the world of PC gamers so far but now there’s a worthy opponent – the Humble Bundle. The company which started off selling bundles for charity is now a complete PC game platform.
Players can continue to purchase bundles for $1 or $5 as they please. But, there’s also a dedicated store where they sell games at discounted prices. The newest summer encore sale looks like something that will give Steam a tough competition on the long run. The website has discounted every bundle, from almost every developed including Warner Bros, Devolver, Ubisoft, 2K, Namco Bandai among others.
The weekend collection is much better than the ones from the past few days. The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt is having a decent 30% discount priced at $41.99 among other popular games. Some notable additions are Lord of the Rings Shadow of Mordor, Payday 2 for just $5.99, Fallout New Vegas, Borderlands 2, The Walking Dead and many more.
Instead of struggling much to find deals, you can just sign up at Cheapshark and similar websites that make it easy to identify deals. The site will send an e-mail as soon as a game falls down a specific price point on any of the deal sites. Origin is also hosting a major sale at the moment where you could buy Battlefield 4, Hardline, Star Wars Battlefront and Sims 4 at reduced prices.
Humble Bundle deal will continue to run till September 14th and they give 10 percent of everything they earn to charity, as they often do in many of their sales. Check out their official storage page where you may also find some audio books and Android games at discounted prices.
Once the sale is done, within two months or so, Steam will be back to action with their autumn sale and the huge winter sale.
