Apple has a new launch in town and surprisingly, it’s not a smart phone, watch or a Macbook. And, thankfully they didn’t remove any ports because books can’t have ports, right?
Designed by Apple in California, or we can simply call it the Apple iBook is a $300 collector’s edition item that has a series of images of their products. Right from the prototype to the final design, everything that went into making those iconic products in the past till present is showcased in it.
Jony Ive, the lead designer at the Steve Jobs led company takes us through how this book for built. Spending $200 or $300 for the big edition might sound like a far cry for most. But, watching this video wouldn’t hurt your pockets. The images are printed on custom dyed, gilded matte paper with silver edges.
The total book is about 450 pages and photography is done by Andrew Zuckerman. Ive has a lot to share about their work, the goal to create seamless products and the team behind it in true Apple style. It’s here for you to see.
