Smartphones have had the feature for a long time but Dell holds the credit for launching world’s first 2-in-1 laptop which is capable of wireless charging.
The Dell Latitude 7285 is the one to usher in this new feature and if you are interested in this nifty feature it is mandatory to spend more on this laptop apart from its original cost. The hybrid laptop was first showcased during the CES event this year and is now officially available in stores.
While the original price of the laptop is at $1,199, customers have to pay $549.99 in order to grab hold of the Wireless charging keyboard and the wireless charging mat. The total cost will go all the way up to $1,750 if the wireless charging feature is to be obtained.
The Dell Latitude 7285 has moderate specifications as it is powered by a Intel i5 processor with 8 GB of RAM and 128GB of SSD storage space. The 12-inch device might sound expensive with the new feature but it is the first of many and soon other manufacturers may follow suit by launching wireless charging on their laptops.
