The Cyber Shot branding continues as Sony has launched a brand new model in an event held in New York City. The Sony RX10 IV is the newest camera to join the line which is called as world’s fastest!
Sony proudly stated that the new RX 10 provides blazing fast auto focus lock speed in just 0.03 seconds and also supports 24fps shooting. While capturing, the lens are designed in such a way to support AF/AE tracking for a massive number of 249 frames.
In terms of technical specifications, the camera is powered by F2.4 – F4 Zeiss Vario Sonnar T Lens which offers a wide focal coverage. There is a whopping 315 point phase detection for AF and it also uses an OLED viewfinder. The camera uses 20.1 megapixel Exmor RS CMOS setup with a DRAM chip.
Users can rely on the Sony RX 10 IV to capture 4K videos at a resolution of 3840×2160. When using the 4K mode, you have the option to either capture the video in 30p or 24p while full HD 1080p mode supports up to 120p. You can also capture super slow motion videos at 1000, 500 or 250 fps options.
A durable camera it is, the Sony RX 10 IV has Wifi, NFC and is resitant to dust and moisture. The camera sells for $1,700 and is ready to hit shelves this October.
