Nintendo used to have limited amounts of their most popular consoles in the past but based on how vehemently fans supported their vintage initiative, the company has decided to increase supply and keep supplying more of these consoles.
The Super NES Classic Edition priced at $79.99 is a dream come true for nostalgic people who want to experience the amazing titles from the past. Bundled with 21 retro games including Super Mario World and The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past, Super Metroid, it was originally launched in 2016. However, stocks didn’t last long. Nintendo has confirmed that the SNES is getting restocked from Sept 29th onwards and there is no need to buy it for excessive costs through ebay.
The SNES Classic Edition connects to your television through a HDMI cable and comes with two wired controllers, recreating the retro experience. Next in the lineup is the original NES Classic Edition which will be manufactured again and launched in 2018. Actual release dates will be announced next year.
