Funko loves to make every popular pop character into a figurine so that people could buy them and display them proudly on their desks. It’s surprising that they didn’t make something for the Mortal Kombat series which is now fixed.
The company Funko announced a huge line up of figures based on the famous Mortal Kombat franchise today. Ten different characters will be introduced out of which only six are available while others will be store exclusives and repeat versions of the same character. When you pick just 6 out of the huge MK rooster, it is going to leave a lot of fan favorites in the lurch.
At least, we should be thankful that the most favorite Scorpion and Sub-Zero isn’t missing in the list. Sub-Zero gets three different versions of himself while there is Liu Kang, Kitana, Raiden and even Goro.
Scorpion with a flaming head will be exclusively sold through Hot Topic, Goro and others including the original Sub-Zero, Scorpion will be sold only through Gamestop. Mortal Kombat XL is the upcoming game in the series but Funko’s pop figurines are not related to any of the games and there are no movies in sight. So, it’s all about pure love for the MK franchise and you should be able to buy or maybe all of them at once.
