Nvidia has been going strong for many months now but the decision to launch a slightly more powerful GTX 1070Ti graphics card doesn’t sound like the best decision to make. For the average buyer who goes by the pricing, it should be cheaper than the top of the line GTX 1080 model.
However, if you dig deep into the specifications, the 1070 and the 1070ti comes close in terms of performance. Besides, Nvidia has planned to increase it to 2304 shader cores which if done will make it a direct competitor to the flagship Nvidia GTX 1080. Another rumor suggests the company may simply increase the memory by making it a 9Gbps GDDR5 card so that it competes with the Vega 56.
Nvidia is yet to officially confirm that they are making a 1070ti graphics card and if confirmed, it should hit stores by the end of the year so as to provide a tough fight to their competitor AMD.
