Ubisoft is notoriously known for some of their best games than ran well on consoles but didn’t do so on PC. Assassin’s Creed Origins is the latest game in the series which is coming back after 2 years.
A game like Unity was a total disaster not only on PC but also on Xbox One and PS4. Based on the performance reports and actual gameplay experience, the newly introduced Origins seems to run much better with improved frame rates and graphics on the Xbox One X 4K console when directly compared to a desktop PC.
According to a report by wccftech, the game stuttered a lot throughout the run time and ran at just 30 fps which sounds shocking. The previous Assassin’s Creed Unity was such a disappointment because of such issues and if the new game wouldn’t run 60 FPS, it’s obviously a bad example of poor optimization.
Will Ubisoft and developers fix Assassin’s Creed Origins before its imminent launch on PC, PS4 and Xbox One? We hope they do! Or else, there’s no point in investing thousands in building the perfect gaming PC only to stutter and lag in AAA titles with just 30 fps.
The games launches on October 24th on all platforms and with just month a go, it’s very difficult to have an optimistic thought that they would fix things and make Origins a great game on PCs.
