MSI has unveiled the new Vortex G25 gaming desktop PC, a slim and compact gaming beast that even the most hardcore PC Master Race fan can go for.
Instead of waiting for the Intel 8th generation processor to hit the retail market, the mass market brands have already jumped into the race. While custom PC builders have to wait, MSI already offers Coffee Lake Intel processors in their new gaming PC which is extremely compact and is adequately cooled.
The 2.5-liter chassis houses a powerful Intel i7-8700 processor with 16GB of RAM and a cool GTX 1070 graphics card. A super-fast M.2 256GB SSD takes care of your Windows 10 operating system or any OS of your choice while there is a 1 TB hard disk to store those bulky Steam, Origin and UPlay games.
The numbers of ports found in the Vortex G25 is adequate as it has a USB 3.1 Gen 2 Type C, Gen 1 Type C, USB 3.0 and two HDMI outputs which support 4K gaming. Additional connectors are provided for SPIF, external PSU, headset and microphone. The SSD and Hard disk can be easily removed to be upgraded when needed.
MSI Vortex G25 has been overlocked up to 4.3GHz and we hope it has enough cooling solutions to keep it running. The bells and whistles obviously cost a lot as it is priced at $1,999 while the i5, GTX 1060 version is bit cheaper at $1,499.
