The Google Chrome browser on Android has received an important update which will now allow users to easily view saved passwords and probably type them on a different browser or app, when required.
Being able to view password is a feature that is already available on the desktop version of Google Chrome. In case, Google Play Store didn’t prompt you to download the newest update, head to the settings page and manually check for the newer version.
Make sure you are logged into your personal account because all passwords saved will be available at passwords.google.com and will be readily accessible for you to find them whenever you need one.
For security reasons, the developers have blocked the option of taking a screenshot of your password when it shows on screen. Only passwords you save when logging into a website or service can be viewed using this feature.
