HMD in an elegant press meet announcement a ground-breaking smartphone, the Nokia 2 without much fanfare. The pricing and the battery capacity of the device is expected to boost it to become a popular choice among buyers worldwide.
The Nokia brand is expanding with numbered devices all the way from the newly launched Nokia 2 to the high end Nokia 9. The newest and cheapest smartphone looks decent but it is the specifications that matter the most.
The Nokia 2 has a large 4,100 mAh battery which is going to be its unique selling point. In terms of specifications, the phone has a 5-inch display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 212 processor. On the back end of the device, there’s an 8- megapixel camera while the front selfie is taken care of a 5-megapixel shooter.
While it comes bundled with a meagre 8GB of storage space, you can always choose to expand it with micro SD card slot up to 128GB. The phone is roughly priced at $120, which is 99 euros where it has been officially launched now and will eventually find its way to other markets. The Nokia 2 is going to be the cheapest entry level phone from HMD for now with a large display and powerful battery life.
