Bluetooth connectivity combined with wired connection seems to be the feature for most devices as they allow users to connect a headset with a wide range of devices including PC, Xbox One, PS4, Nintendo Switch, smartphones and VR headsets.
While the Nintendo Switch console doesn’t support Bluetooth directly, the company allows gamers to connect to the Nintendo app using a smartphone and later receiving audio signals from the hybrid console. With the Xbox One and PS4, it works seamlessly over a wired connection when plugged into the wireless controllers.
The Steelseries Arctis 3 headset supports VoIP, music and to take calls on any device it is paired to. The company says Bluetooth is for other usage scenarios while gamers have to rely on wired for lag free response.
