This feature should be launched a long time ago but Android Oreo 8.1 is finally integrating a functionality which will show which apps are draining your battery faster than everything else.
When most users have over a 100 apps installed on their Android smartphone, some of them done on their own while others end up as the apps installed by their seller, it is next to impossible to find what’s eating up the power so much.
Lots of third party apps are available for both iOS and Android to find which is consuming power so as to disable it or delete it. Now, Android Oreo will display a red battery power icon in the settings menu showing that app is doing the harm.
You can click on it to reduce its permissions or straight out delete it so as to keep your phone running for hours before it has to be plugged in for charging. Such a basic functionality that took so long for the developers to incorporate into the smartphone but it will be very handy once it gets launched.
