Google is adamant to not have a notch on their phone and it is a good thing. The leaked press renders of the Google Pixel 4 and the Pixel 4 XL seems quite promising as these phones may look slightly old school but delivers on all fronts.
The series of leaks come from Evan Blass, a notable Twitter personality who has an excellent track record of leaking official things before their launch. The Pixel 4 leaks seem pretty plausible because they are all over the news by now even though we are still two weeks away from its official launch.
The Pixel 4 XL is the phone featured in the leaked photographs, as we hope so. The larger design seems it could be the XL model and Google is getting rid of the notch they introduced in the Pixel 3 XL which is good news for those who really hate it. We are one among them and it is great to see they are using a square on the back to house the cameras. The design looks a lot like the newly launched Apple iPhone 11 and the iPhone 11 Pro but it has some minor changes.
In a recent tweet, Evan Blass further leaked another press render that showcases the Pixel 4 XL in all its orange glory. The phones look ugly according to some comments but it looks decent to others. Once they are officially launched and their prices revealed, it might give buyers a better idea. Besides, Google still makes the best smartphone camera that excels in impeccable clarity and leaked photographs stand proof to this claim.
Google calls it Oh So Orange and it may appeal to some of the buyers. The iPhone 11 Pro models with the military green was one of the most sought after colors this year and if Pixel 4 XL could find its way with such a vibrant color, it will earn accolades from buyers.
The official event is scheduled to take place on October 15th and the same date is displayed on the leaked renders as well with the exact same wallpapers. We will have more details when the event goes live and Google further announces everything we need to know about the Pixel 4 and Pixel 4 XL smartphones.
