Recent rumors indicate that Samsung is really interested in releasing a budget version of their 2020 upcoming flagship model, the S11 series. The model has been nicknamed as the S11 Lite for now but it is only a placeholder to indicate the kind of phone they are building.
So far, there has been a wide range of devices to choose from in the Samsung line-up. The S10e is a budget-friendly version of the S10 and S10 Plus but has lesser camera as well as a new design. However, the S11 Lite is supposed to be quite the same as the S11 but with a smaller display size, the same 855 or the next generation Snapdragon 865 processor.
Apple is nearly confirmed to be bringing their iPhone SE back to life with the iPhone SE2. The budget-friendly iOS device will be extremely cheap compared to how expensive their iPhone 11 and other phones are. However, the device will use an older A-series processor, smaller in size and overall cater to the Asian and possibly the European market where people want to spend less.
What we know about the S11 Lite So Far?
The Samsung Galaxy S11 Lite or the possible S11 Neo 4G phone in order to keep prices within the affordable segment. It may get launched even before the actual launch of the S11 series in the month of March, 2020. Going this route, the company may water down the anticipation surrounding the actual flagship launch and it is more of a rumor that doesn’t hold much logic to it.
The manufacturer will rather wait to launch all three phones together as they usually do. Instead of having drastic differences on the Galaxy S10e which didn’t feature the in-display fingerprint scanner and the slim design, this Lite variant of the S11 will be full-featured but with a lower price tag.
Everything the company didn’t do with their Galaxy S series will be covered when they release the A-series phones next year and there is plenty to choose from. The A30, A50 and goes all the way up to A50 and A70 providing lots of options for buyers if they are not interested in the Samsung S11 Lite.
