With a strong will to woo continents on the Eastern side of the world, Amazon has launched their first wireless Echo speaker named the Echo Input. The product can last for 10 hours on a full charge, playing your favorite music, news and podcasts.
Amazon has a vast line of products and speakers that are powered by their AI assistant, Alexa. The Echo range is fantastic but it has a caveat. All of them are powered by cables and there is no way to carry them to the pool or anywhere outside like you would do with other Bluetooth speakers. Customers were looking forward to a big launch for a very long time and in a surprising movie, the company choose to launch it first in India which is a relatively new market for the eCommerce giant.
However, it is to be expected that the Echo Input will soon find its way to all parts of the globe including the US and UK so that customers could make use of the wireless freedom it provides. The new Amazon speakers is capable of delivering sound in a 360-degree setup and is integrated with a large 4,800mAh battery. The device also delivers 11 hours of battery standby time.
Alexa will be available by default on this device so that you can call it anytime and the Echo Input Portable Smart Speaker Edition is priced at $84 approximately when converted from India rupees. As an introductory offer, the speaker is being sold for $70 and is expected to be a huge hit in the Indian subcontinent because Alexa already supports voice commands in the Hindi language with a huge user base in the regional zone.
Amazon will bring the Echo Input Portable Edition to the Western market but it depends on how well it is received because when they launched the Amazon Tap years ago, it turned out to be a dud and people didn’t buy it as much as the range of other electricity powered Echo devices in the USA.
