Rockstar has finally started showing some love to PC gamers and they have confirmed that GTA 5 is coming to the platform on April 14 as planned. They also revealed online heists in an exclusive TV spot launched today.
The developers spent a lot of time making console gamers happy. GTA V got launched on Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 almost two years ago. There was no word on whether it is coming to next gen consoles and PC.
Even after announcing the launch, the Windows version of the game was postponed at least three times and the finalized release date is April 14. In their official Youtube channel, Rockstar has unveiled an impressive TV spot which shows online heists in action.
Interestingly, they have also confirmed the release date on more time. Fans who were wondering whether there will be more postponing dates could rest now because it looks like the team has done enough delay. After all, they would now want to make money off gamers who love PC gaming, right?
The trailer also confirms that unlike players on Playstation and Xbox consoles, PC gamers will be able to enjoy the critically acclaimed Online Heists mode on launch date. It is quite similar to PayDay and Battlefield Hardline.
There will be two different teams, one assigned to rob banks or deliver illegal goods while the cops will be doing their best to stop them. It is an amazing asset to the title, confirmed critics. GTA Online will be part of GTA 5 when it gets launched on PC and all the free DLCs that have been released so far will also be made available on launch date.
