Microsoft Office program is an inevitable software bundle for every Windows PC as it’s highly productive and gets the job done. With Office 2016, the company has revamped the interface and made it much better with a whole load of new features.
The main priority of this new program is that it is no longer a desktop software but a program that will seamlessly work on multiple platforms at once. Cloud storage plays an integral role one more time so that you could edit a powerpoint on a PC and make changes on your smartphone right before the conference.
The public preview for Microsoft Office 2016 is now open to download. You can get the software here and check out some of the new features it has to offer. The program has been designed in a way so as to seamlessly work with the upcoming Windows 10 operating system. It is visually revamped with bigger icons for easier navigation on tablet and touch screen laptops but also makes the desktop features more prominent than ever.
OneDrive and Outlook Integration
Be it MS Word, Excel or Powerpoint, the main focus is to integrate it strongly with OneDrive cloud storage. Outlook is also merged into the documents so that you can access them from your e-mail client conveniently. Computers running on Windows 10 will find it much easier because there is a dedicated metro app for Outlook that works in the desktop environment.
Smart Apps – Inspired by Android and Google’s way of decluttering content, Microsoft Office 2016 learn based on your daily activity and help you find the files you need without difficulty. It helps you organize them accordingly and even sort files with the same content or theme across different software. A PPT file which has an additional word document and spreadsheet with similar content will be merged together for your convenient access.
