LG G4 Features a Leather Cover that Takes 12 Weeks to Make

The talk of the town is the leather cover used in the LG G4 smartphone which got released around the globe today.

If you are planning to buy one immediately you have to either live in Hong Kong or travel there because the company is going to launch it there first before bringing it to other cities in the world. The launch will eventually take weeks as LG said they will be rolling out till the end of June and maybe even after that.

Leather – The Story Behind

Before you see this video, like everyone else, you might have assumed that it is not a big deal to create a leather cover for a phone.

But, the one used on the LG G4 is not just any ordinary panel but it is extremely authentic and genuine. Besides, it is not made using animal skin but through plants, claims the company in their promotional video. There are six different covers available, in three different variants for you to choose from. They also say that this is one of the top quality leather that seldom any manufacturer uses. It is known as the full grain which is much higher than the usual genuine leather branding used in most products including furniture.

Whatever the claim is, it is fun to watch it and the way they have pictured the entire thing looks as good as any Apple video you might have seen. You could choose to buy a LG G4 or not but it is a must watch that you shouldn’t miss.
