iPod Touch, Nano and Shuffle Get New Colors

While everyone thought they are dead already, Apple has indirectly leaked an information through the new iTunes 12.2 upgrade.

The upgrade was supposed to make the music software more efficient, fix some bugs and bring in performance improvements. But, it also leaked something that Apple was supposed to announce in an upcoming event.

According to the update which showed a new picture for the iPods, the Touch, Nano and Shuffle variants of the portable music players are going to get new colors to flaunt with. The dark blue iPod touch is definitely an eye catcher which looks beautiful and most young people would love to own it.

For others who like to stay subtle yet stylish, the gold colored iPod Nano should be a worthy option. The last but most strikingly colored of them all is the brightly lit pink colored iPod Shuffle. It is easily the most compact music device that you could own without having to worry about the battery draining out.

While most believe that music players, especially the iPod is dead now because of smartphones, there are still a lot of places you could go where phones are banned. Besides, for long travels, they could never be a worthy replacement as battery issues are too high whereas iPod Nano or Shuffle could be a reliable agent for those frequent travelers.

The dark variants of blue, pink and the gold variants will not only be available with the other models but will be introduced for all the iPod models. Sadly, the classic is no longer in production but it’s good to see these getting a refreshed line-up.
