Youtube Gets Transparent Video Bar on Firefox, Chrome and Mobile Apps

Youtube got a series of updates and the last big one was when they moved it to HTML 5 with full support for 60 FPS videos. Great news for gamers!

Now, there’s something that every user will love. Getting rid of the usual thick gray bars and conventional design, Youtube now has a transparent bar that shows only when you hover your mouse pointer over it.

Similar to the design used in the mobile app, the desktop version of Youtube uses a floating design which doesn’t hang along annoying you when watching your favorite trailer or show. Besides, the controls doesn’t hinder with the video as it is completely transparent right now.

The update is being rolled out for people around the globe on all major browsers including Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome and Edge apart from the mobile app versions.

You should be able to find this new feature available on all Youtube videos right now.
