Xiaomi Says Mi Notebook Pro has More Ports and Features than Apple Macbook Pro

A press conference couldn’t take more dibs at a competitors product than what Xiaomi did to Apple Macbook Pro, as they launched the Mi Notebook Pro in China.

While there is no word on the laptop coming to international markets anytime soon, the company believes they offer the highest number of ports, the best display and hardware specifications for the cheapest possible price unlike Apple.

In sheer number of ports, the Mi Notebook Pro has a SD card slot that supports 3 in 1 sizes, Data USB C port, all-function USB C port, full sized HDMI port for output, USB 3.0 dual ports and a 3.5 mm headphone jack. In comparison, Apple doesn’t have any of them because they have only four repeated versions of the same Thunderbolt 3 port with a 3.5mm headphone jack!

The newly announced laptop has a 15.6-inch display with Gorilla Glass 3 protection, i7 8th gen processor, 16GB of RAM and Nvidia GeForce MX150 GPU. The top of the line Mi Notebook Pro with 16GB of RAM is priced at the most expensive point at $1072. The company also announced the very impressive Mi Mix 2 and the Mi Note 3 phablet.
