Dragon Ball FighterZ Closed Beta Lasts Just 3 Hours on PS4 and Xbox One

Dragon Ball FighterZ closed beta begins today. The game is scheduled to get launched on PS4, Xbox One and PC platforms in early 2018.

A confirmed release date is yet to be announced. Players who have got selected for the closed beta would have received a link in their e-mail. If you have already applied to play the game on the Playstation 4 console or the Xbox One, make sure to check your e-mail right away. For Xbox One owners, a notification will directly be sent to the Insider Hub’s announcement feed.

Most betas run for days while the developers Bandai Namco is going to constrain it to just three hours making it quite difficult for those to participate in the beta. You have to make yourself free today or at least tomorrow in order to play the game.

Here are the times

September 16th (Saturday)

  • 2 AM to 5 AM PT
  • 10 AM to 1 AM PT
  • 6 PM to 9 PM PT

September 17th (Sunday)

  • 1 PM to 4 PM PT

Dragon Ball FighterZ will have at least 13 iconic characters as confirmed by the developer including

  • Goku
  • Vegeta
  • Frieza
  • Future Trunks
  • Krillin
  • Piccolo
  • Gohan
  • Android 18

Special characters like Super Saiyan Blue Goku and Vegeta will also make their appearance along with 2 different pre-order exclusive characters. The first trailer was launched at Gamescom and the game will find its way to PS4, Xbox One and PC in the first quarter of 2018.
