AtariBox Console Rumored Pricing Suggests it’s on Par with Xbox One and PS4

Rumors continue to drop in with regards to the new Ataribox console, the company is making. For 80s kids, Atari is the most favorite home console of the era that slowly faded out of the market.

They are making a big comeback and it seems it’s not a compact SNES or a rehash of old titles. Atari is actually making a home console for current generation gamers which is confirmed through its pricing. The Ataribox console is expected to be priced at $250 to $300 which obviously brings it on par with Xbox One and PS4.

The listing also suggests pricing will vary based on hardware specifications that suggests that more than one edition of the device could get launched in 2018. Another inside source suggests AMD is making a high-end processor for Ataribox. Instead of making just another gaming console, the company wants to create a compact PC that does gaming, music, movies, sports and streaming all-in-one solution at budget friendly costs.

For those nostalgic lovers, Atari will also bundle all popular classic titles in the console along with newer games. If rumors are to be believed, Ataribox has the potential to change the world of gaming permanently by being a strong competitor for Microsoft’s Xbox One and Sony’s Playstation 4.
