Google Assistant is Now on Nvidia Shield, Coming to More Android TVs Soon

Without a Voice AI assistant, your television may not get as smart as it should. Google Assistant should fix that for you as it is coming to all Android TVs in the near future and is already available on the Nvidia Shield.

While it’s pretty much a standard affair on all Android smartphones, tablets and other devices, bringing it to the big screen is a welcome addition. Some of the features of the Voice AI have been tweaked so as to make it more intuitive and easy to use on a television screen.

Being the end user, you can get a lot of things done by asking Google Assistant to search for video on Youtube, tell the weather, find movies on Netfllix, get travel data, open Google Photos and much more. With Nvidia Shield being a powerful TV box, it will come in handy whenever you need things done on your TV. The device is not portable which is the only big difference we could and it works pretty much the same.

Google Assistant will soon be rolled out to Sony Android TV as well as all other devices that run on Marshmallow or later Android operating system.
