It’s Compact! It’s Cute! It’s Commodore 64 Mini Retro Console

Following the huge success of the NES and the SNES Mini consoles from Nintendo, the retro console maker is joining the race with Commodore 64 Mini edition.

Gaming has evolved into something real with Oculus Rift and PS4 Pro consoles. But, people seem to have a thing for retro games that are vibrant in colors, has very difficult levels and looks awesome on your newly purchased 4K television!

Priced at $70, the Commodore 64 Mini simply known as C64 Mini comes bundled with 64 officially licensed games and a single joystick controller. While the console has lost considerable size, the joystick is big enough to hold for players.

For those who are new to the scene, the console is actually a keyboard from the past which has a HDMI port to connect it to your HDTV, two USB ports in which you can attach another joystick for two player gaming or another keyboard.

It even runs BASIC, the original language developed in the 1980s. The console has a huge list of retro classics from the original Commodore 64 but its availability is still not confirmed because the system is not being done by the original developers and may have some copyright issues. We hope it doesn’t!
