You Can Soon Wake Up Your Phones with ‘Hey Google’

Does Ok Google sound too formal and annoying to you? It does for a lot of people which is why the company is working on bringing the superior ‘Hey Google’ command to all Android smartphones.

While Google Assistant is available on all their devices for a long time now, the company’s catchy phrase was limited to Google Home devices and was not available for smartphones.

The hotword is officially getting rolled out to all smartphones within a couple of weeks. Your phone might receive it as a small factory update from Android developer team. Phones with pure android OS may receive it faster when compared to those that need permission from its developers.
