Barnes & Noble is not giving up easily as the company is going to fight against the Amazon Kindle eReader, the largest selling and most popular device with the new Nook GlowLight 3 model.
The design and outlook of the newly launched product is pretty much like the Kindle but unique in its own terms. The B&N GlowLight 3 is up for pre-orders now and is expected to start shipping to customers in the second of November this year. It is priced at $120 and considering the affordable tag, it should find audience who are still interested in what an Amazon competitor has to offer.
In terms of specifications, the device has grown in size to be on par with all 2017 eReaders available in the market. As the name suggests, it is equipped with a new night mode making it easy to read books in the night and uses warmer light, not the traditional blue light that hurts your eyes in pitch black conditions.
On the sides, the Barnes & Noble GlowLight 3 eReader has a soft, matte black finish which is free of fingerprints and is easy to hold for hours without any strain. Tapping on the side of the screen flips pages while the screen has considerably improved with 300ppi for crisp text and also supports Wifi to download books whenever you like to.
With a powerful battery, the device can be used for 50 days straight before you have to hit the plug point again to charge it. There is 2.5GB of storage space for as many books as you would like to.
Features of the B&N Nook GlowLight 3 eReader include,
- Night mode for easy reading in the dark
- Soft touch finish on the sides for comfortable grip
