Huawei Honor Vision TV will Integrate Harmony OS

Major manufacturers like Samsung, Huawei and OnePlus want to somehow come out of the Android ecosystem with their own versions. While it is not an easy task to undertake, the Harmony OS is what Huawei is working on which will find its way to Honor Vision TV and other products in the near future.

Instead of directly trying to remove Android from their flagship smartphones which will immediately affect sales on a major level, the company will instead focus on introducing it in other devices such as smartwatches and probably in their Honor Vision TV.

The actual time for the OS to become widely adopted on all platforms might take some time because Android now runs on almost everything and all kinds of devices support it seamlessly. The Honor Vision TV is however an entirely different beast that focuses on excellent hardware specifications and there is even a Pro variant of the same.

Embracing the Pro

Pro is the catchword in 2019 because there is a Pro version of everything. You have a PS4 Pro, an iPhone 11 Pro, OnePlus 7 Pro and what not? Everything wants to be professional even though they aren’t exactly as huge as the companies would want you to believe.

The trend is going to trickle down to smart televisions as well as Huawei will be having a simple TV and Pro version of their Honor Vision TV. Some exciting features that the company has already implemented in the televisions include Motion Estimate and Motion Compensation, HDR, Super Resolution and Dynamic Contrast Improvement.

With so many different features and the power of Harmony OS, the Honor Vision TV can actually work as a central hub for IoT devices. You can easily connect your smart speakers, bulbs and everything at home to the television so that it can be easily controlled from one centralized location.

The Honor Vision TV from Huawei also has a camera to enable video calling, will have all the popular apps like Netflix, YouTube and Amazon Prime so that viewers no longer have to invest in another streaming device. The future is changing and Huawei seems to be at the front of everyone else by implementing powerful processors, 32GB of storage in the Pro version besides offering large screen sizes.

The television will go as large as 75-inch 85-inch variants scheduled for launch later in 2019 making it a powerful competitor to the likes of Samsung and LG, brands that rule the home entertainment market.
