Everything You Need to Know About the OnePlus TV Q1 and Q1 Pro

The technology firms have done enough smartphones and computers that they are now moving to the home entertainment segment. The OnePlus TV Q1 an Q1 Pro confirm that there will be more attention on smart speakers, headphones and other streaming devices from companies like OnePlus, Apple and Samsung.

Not so surprisingly, Motorola has launched a new television of their own and Huawei is working on one. All these devices are targeted towards the Indian market for now. They are expected to eventually launch in USA, Europe and China in the following months.

However, buyers in India can already purchase the OnePlus TV Q1 and Q1 Pro. The company didn’t try to compete with Xiaomi Mi televisions that are far more affordable and designed to entice the budget market.

The televisions went on sale on Amazon India on 28th September and you can easily find YouTube reviews online to show how the new TV compares against Samsung and LG products. They are out for a much longer time and this is time for the smartphone manufacturer to prove their mettle.

Specifications of the OnePlus TV Q1 and Q1 Pro

Both televisions support 4K resolution with HDR 10+, has Dolby Vision and share the screen size of 55-inches. The actual cost will vary because the Pro version is much more expensive than the entry level product.

The speakers are rather large and they use a motorized setup to roll down in style every time you switch on the television. Similarly, it uses VESA mount to wall mount the television so as to get that aesthetic look that you love to have in your home entertainment setup.

Under the hood, they run on the latest Android OS powered by Snapdragon 855+ processor, the latest and great chipset used on all flagship smartphones such as the OnePlus 7T phone and the Asus gaming phone. It ensures the television UI is fluid and there is no need to add an additional streaming stick as it will support wireless streaming from all Android phones.

The TV remote does take cue from the Apple remote with a small touchscreen bar, quick access to Google Assistant AI and has a stylish silver finish. The pricing of the product in USA and other regions is yet to be determined. For now, the OnePlus TV Q1 costs $990 while the Q1 Pro costs $1,416 and these are definitely not cheap ones. They do deliver value for money and some great performance according to reviews.
