The game is on! Google is about to launch the Pixel 4 this month and leaks are aplenty. As a matter of fact, everything about the phone including the two rear cameras and the iPhone-like rear design has been already confirmed through leaks.
The series of leaks just continue as the Pixel 4 was listed on Best Buy for pre-order before its official launch. While the page would have been taken down by now for obvious reasons, it did confirm the important specifications of the phone.
Besides, the design has been revealed in many leaks including the different colors and the orange edition of the phone. Google is going the no notch route and there are no sliding cameras as well. The thin bezel has been retained which allows you to get a full phone but also some old-style look that is no longer part of newer phones.
The Pixel 4 as rumored earlier will be powered by the newest Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 processor and not the 855+ processor as some claimed. Both the phones, Pixel 4 and Pixel 4 XL will feature a dual camera setup. The primary camera will be 12 megapixels while the secondary will be a telephoto lens with 16 megapixels.
There will be just 6GB of RAM which is unlike other phones that are going with 8 or 12GB of RAM. With proper software management, this should be more than enough to keep it a powerful flagship phone that you can rely on. The pre-order page adds there will be 64GB of storage on the base version and a 128GB variant will be the higher model.
Despite being a pre-order page on the Best Buy, we are unable to come to terms with the pricing of the Pixel 4 and the Pixel 4 XL smartphones. They should be on par with the Pixel 3 phones or somewhere close to Galaxy S10 phones in order to compete better in the smartphone market.
