Can you really protect a screen with screen on both sides? That’s a question for the future. The Nubia Z20 dual screen smartphone is officially out and has display on both sides.
Gone are the days when you had a selfie camera in front, then a notch and now punch hole cameras or rotating grinders. The future is dual screens in different models. Microsoft and Samsung is going the foldable route where they merge two large displays into a compact package.
Chinese smartphone manufacturers always push the limits as Vivo and Oppo launched punch hole cameras, sliders long back before OnePlus or Samsung did. The Nubia Z20 stands as another testament for the innovation they continue to bring into the smartphone industry. Even Apple is far behind any of these as they launched three generation of phones with the same, large (ugly) notch.
People still buy it but the future of smartphones are changing. The Nubia Z20 features a 6.4-inch 1080p primary display while the rear side features a 5.1-inch OLED display. It is 720p with always on display feature, lets you take selfies and the battery delivers about 6 hours of screen on time.
The phone is powered by the latest Snapdragon 855 processor and there is the 27w fast charger to keep your phone up and running at all times. There is a case that comes bundled with the phone which protects the rear display and as you have to use it only for selfies or calls, you can use it without removing the case at all.
The touchscreen works seamlessly and photo quality is quite good for a phone that is quite inexpensive compared to many other $1000 flagship moves. The Nubia Z20 dual screen smartphone is available all over the world including the U.S. and went for sale at $549.
