Fortnite Chapter 2 Adds Water Based Combat and Movement

Fortnite Chapter 2 is the new rage as the Epic Games’ celebrated title is growing to reach new heights. As part of the new season, the developers have added a completely new island to intensify the combat.

Battle Royale games are aplenty now but PUBG and Fortnite are the most popular among them all. Call of Duty Modern Warfare Mobile gained lots of hype on its launch day on both Android and iOS. In order to keep up with increasing competition, Epic Games has been really proactive in launching new content that keeps the player base interested in what they have to offer.

The new Chapter 2 introduces a new island map which has 13 different locales to experience. The biggest change is that combat is no longer reserved for the grounds. You can actually get into the water using the wide range of vehicles available including motorboats and can also swim through it without attracting the enemies attraction.

The significant amount of attention provided for water will bring some exciting changes to the game play as players can use stealth to reach the other sides. Snipers can take spots to hunt down anyone trying to venture into their territory. Similarly, you can also fish in the water and revive teammates with bandages.

Players can choose to take their injured teammates on a boat to safety before reviving them. A lot of combat and gun firing is expected to take place in the waters because of the different vehicles available in Fortnite Chapter 2. The update is coming to all major platforms including PC, PS4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch.

The same maps and weapons will also be available on smartphones for players who are really comfortable gaming on the go. A battle pass now provides buyers with new emotes, skins and weapon skins along with the option to earn more rewards and experience. The additions are expected to rekindle the gamer spirit among those who may not have visited Fortnite in a while but it also helps unleash a new lease of fresh air into the gameplay and fighting mechanics.
