It is considered a rumor but the chances of it is much higher. The Apple AirPods Pro is coming this year as everyone know by now but the features are something that we are yet to confirm.
According to a brand new rumor, the Pro edition of the in-ear headphones will finally get rid of the any-time-fall-off design to be more reliable. After all, there are hardly any such earphones that make use of the primitive design because it doesn’t fit tight in your ear canals.
Besides, being wireless makes it all the more fragile as you can lose one of your headphone anywhere on the road while jogging or walking to office. The in-ear design which is a rumor at this point is expected to fix all these problems and will find its way into the Pro edition.
Everything is Pro these days. We have the OnePlus 7 Pro, iPhone 11 Pro and why not do the same for the AirPods Pro as well?
The new AirPods Pro which will obviously be priced at $159 or higher will feature active noise cancellation for the first time. ANC is a common feature on high-end Sony and Bose headphones but they are too bulky to carry around. Sony recently launched an in-ear variant with ANC and a similar approach is now being followed by Apple to make life easier for commuters.
An Expensive AirPods Incoming
The slim and compact box in which you can carry your AirPods Pro makes it the most portable device out there. At the same time, it also provides much better noise isolation when equipped with active noise cancellation technology. A new metal variant of the earphones are also rumored but we are yet to confirm the same.
Apple has planned to retain the existing AirPods because they will be the cheapest variant with the AirPods Pro gets launched. The newer model may go as high as $260 and that’s a massive price tag for an earphone that is supposed to be an additional accessory to make calls and listen to music.
At this price point, any smart buyer should also consider options from seasoned headphone manufacturers like Bose, Sennheiser and other brands that excel at offering better sound. But, if ease of connectivity is your priority, the AirPods Pro should be the only best albeit an expensive option to go for.
